Social scientist and advocate Gráinne McGettrick will be joined by her colleague Natasha Sinnot and Artists Rachel Fitzpatrick, Paul O’Brien and Denise Lawler to discuss ABI rehabilitation. This session includes an exhibition of works created by people with lived experience of ABI.

Explore the power of community singing in choirs with Hilda Chan, the Executive Director of Newpark Academy of Music. During this session there will be opportunities to sing together and enjoy this collective experience.

In this session neuroscientist and professional dancer Dr. Anusha Yasoda Mohan will explore how dance shapes our perception of the world. Dancing is a whole-brain activity which reduces stress and enhances our mood.

Join textile artist Lynn Haughton for a fun, creative workshop where you will learn how to turn old t-shirts into t-shirt yarn. This yarn can then be used for such things as crocheting, knitting, weaving, rope making etc. In this workshop, Lynn will teach you how to make t-shirt yarn, as well as how to make rope from the yarn. Each participant will also create a keychain to take home.
