Join us for our Mini-Movers parent and toddler group - a fun and gentle tummy time and movement group for babies.  It's a chance for little ones to wriggle, roll, and explore while parents enjoy a freindly chat in a welcoming space.

Join us in Clones Library every Monday morning at 11:00am for a relaxed hour of crosswords, word searches, code breakers, and sudoku puzzles.

Join Anna Browne of Big Sky Flowers for the second workshop in her series at Mullingar Library.

This workshop explores the living ecosystem beneath our feet—how healthy soil structure, microbial life, and nutrient cycles support thriving plants—and introduces no-dig methods as a way to protect and enhance that biology. Participants will then learn practical composting techniques to create their own fertility, closing the loop between kitchen scraps, garden waste, and nourished soil.

Spaces are limited and booking is essential.

This workshop is part of a residency funded by the Creative Communities Grant run by Creative Westmeath.

Come along to learn new skills, work on projects or to have relaxed conversations about needle craft. All levels of ability are welcome.

Unleash your creativity every Monday evening at 6:00pm in Clones Library.  This class offers a welcoming and supportive creative environment for people of all abilities.

This class is suitable for participants aged 18+.

The next meeting of the Ballymun Library History Book Club with Historian in Residence Dr. Caitlin White will take place on Monday 11th May at 6.30pm.

The book to be discussed is Between Two Rivers: Ancient Mesopotamia and the Birth of History by Moudhy Al-Rashid. Copies of the book are available to borrow from the adult library desk.

Places are limited so booking is required!

Organised as part of Dublin City Council's Historians in Residence Programme.

Anyone who wishes to register for My Open Library must first attend an induction tour. These take place in the library and may take up to 30 minutes. 

You must have a valid Dublin City Libraries card and you must bring a valid age ID (passport, age card etc.)  

You MUST be aged 16 or over to register for this service. A parent or guardian must accompany 16 - 17 year olds to the induction tour and also become an MOL member (each person must book a separate space on the induction tour). 

Under 16s can only access the library during unstaffed hours if they are accompanied by a parent or guardian.
